named after our founding father Adams Wakeman. The room has a

with comfortable couches, table to eat on and views of the canoe
dock & creek.
The Marantette Family Room - Located on the
ground floor this room is suitable for guests who cannot do stairs.
The room has 2 doubles, private bathroom, coffee making facilities,
barfridge, Satelite TV, and comfortable white wicker furniture
in the TV sitting room. This room has a queen bed in the sitting
room during the wedding season and is replaced by the sitting

The Cowboy Room - This room has a double bed, private bathroom,
Satellite TV, overhead fan, air, and rocking chair. The unique
western theme is mingled with a touch of native american. Unique

The Barn Room - This room has a queen bed (in
Fall/Winter) 2 doubles during the wedding season, private bathroom,
air, overhead fan, bardfridge, Comfy chair to watch Satellite
Tv. Old Fashioned "barn" theme with walls covered in
barn wood, this room is north facing and quiet. Rate $89.00

The Country Quilt Room - This room has two doubles,
private bathroom, overhead fan, air, bardfridge and comfortable
rockers for watching Satellite Tv or to read a book. Spacious
room with a "quilt" theme. Rate $89.00 per night.
Guest Kitchen - Located on the 2nd floor this
room has a microwave, barfrdge, coffee supplies, iron and ironing
board, hair dryers, table and chairs for having a quiet cup of
coffee whilst the house sleeps. Cutlery, china and supplies are
available.
The Innkeepers Stable Cottage
Etosha Suite - You have to go to Africa to really
experience the smells and sights but we have tried to bring you
a little of our south african heritage and given you an "out
of Africa" experience. The room is spacious and has a queen
bed, private bathroom, large double jacuzzi, gaslog fireplace,
overhead fan, air, comfortable couch and lazyboyto watch Satellite
TV.Rate $145.00 per night
Okavango Suite - Located side by side (ideal
for two couples coming together) this room has a queen bed, private
bathroom, large double jacuzzi, gaslog fireplace, overhead fan,
air, comfortable chairs to watch Satellite TV. Rate $145.00

** These two rooms share an open porch with rockers and
a garden area with BBQ grill and picnic table.
Guest Sitting Room - this is located in the
main house and is available to all guests and it is the only room
in the house that has a wood burning fireplace.
Enclosed Porch - this area has seating for early
morning coffee and reading and has a ping pong table for some
guest fun. We also have old fashioned croquet, tennis rackets
for tennis at the Mendon park tennis courts.
Garden Area - there is a gazebo on the island
with chairs, as well as picnic tables olongside the creek. The
guest bathroom has bug spray and their are also "tikki lights"
and candles. The bridge and garden area has lights and they can
be plugged in when you are down on the island.
Bonfire Pit - this is located on Serenity Island
and is available to all guests. Wood is stcked nearby for your
use.
