town guest and accomodation.With 10 acres of rolling lawns and
indiginous woods split by the little Portage Creek which ripples
over rapids and under our very own covered bridge.
Serenity Island - We offer the use
of our Serenity Island for a romantic ceremony amidst the sounds
of rushing water and a backdrop of woods and trees. A gazebo graces
the grounds where your string quartet can be under cover or you
may use the gazebo for your ceremony.
Millpond Lawns - A short walk over
the Bridal Bridge connects you to The Millpond Lawns Rolling lawns
with creek views and lush trees add to the natural setting for
the Wedding Canopy for the Reception Dinner A dance floor is available
to dance the night away
On Site Chef - With an International
Chef on site to cater for 'haute cuissine' or a more simple fare,
you may choose from our many menu options. We offer many years
experience in wedding consulting, banqueting and lodging The Chef
uses produce grown locally by our amish farmers using organic
and natural methods of farming. We also have our own small garden
where the Chef grows various herbs and vegetables. ***All
our food is freshly prepared on the event day
Food Tasting -We offer free food tastings
for the Bride and Groom These can be arranged any Saturday evening
Buffet and must be pre-arranged. You may bring guests
at the normal buffet price.
Guest Lodging -The Inn offers 11 Rooms
which can house both families as well as guests. Extra guests
may be lodged at the surrounding bed and breakfasts or Holiday
Inn and Super 8 in Three Rivers. All guest rooms have their own
bathrooms and come with a full breakfast each morning. Each room
has an individual theme and charm of its own and we offer queen,
family and jacuzzi suites. All rooms have direct TV and high speed
internet is available.
All children under 16 years STAY FREE
Canoe and Kayak Trip - End your wedding
weekend with a "canoe and kayak trip" on the St Joseph
River. This is a fun way to finish your weekend and to add to
the memories. We have 21 canoes and 10 single kayaks. If you are
going on a river trip you may check out of your rooms after the
trip
Bonfire Pit - Enjoy a bonfire after
the wedding is over . Our spirit fire is available for all wedding
groups staying here for the weekend.
Bridal Showers -We offer the use of
our Wakeman Dining Room for a Bridal shower or you can arrange
a "sleep over" event
Bachelor Party Canoe Trips - Take the
guys on the river for a fun filled day. Call for pricing.
Wedding Menus - Famous for
our BBQ, Vegan & Vegetarian Reception Dinners
Our menues are individually designed and range from from as low
as $14.95 per person to $29.95 per person.Vegan, Vegetarian or
unique meal planning is available. .All prices are based on food
served buffet style
All meals are served with Tea & Coffee While we try to serve
what is on the menu for the function, events beyond our control
may affect the availability of some items, there we reserve the
right to substitute a comparable dish at no extra cost to the
customer.
